The challenge

A regional parliament needs consistent, credible digital channels and the policies to govern them.

My role

Communications Officer (Support Attachment), under the Chief Communications Officer.

Objectives

• Strengthen the Parliament's communication policy framework.
• Run a measurable social media strategy.
• Establish account authenticity.

Work undertaken

• Contributed to the Communication Policy and the Digital Communication Policy.
• Ran content, scheduling, brand compliance and performance reporting against engagement metrics.
• Wrote press briefings, newsletters, articles and factsheets for plenaries, committee meetings and sensitisation activities.
